Gale Hawthorne Apparel Conflicting Passions

I created this design for Gale Hawthorne. The Complementary colors in this design are a symbol of Gale's conflicted personality.

Gale is an 18 year old male, but he is also one of Katniss' best friends and hunting partner. Katniss describes Gale as hansom and muscular. The point is illustrated by the fact that he catches the attention of many of the girls from district twelve.

Gale was the first love interest of Katniss in the book, and they even talked about running away together and living somewhere out in the forest that surrounds district twelve. However, all of their optimistic plans were crushed during the 74th annual hunger games when Katniss became the new tribute for district twelve. During the games, Peeta and Katniss were forced to play the part of star crossed lovers in order to win the hearts of the people in the capitol. And things get even more interesting when Katniss actually starts to fall in love, against her better judgment.

Hunger Games Character Peeta Mellark T-Shirt and Apparel

I created this T-shirt for the Hunger Games Character Peeta Mellark, also known as the boy with the Bread. Katniss is certainly the lead in the Hunger Games Book; however, Peeta is certainly the secondary hero, and just as important to the story line as Katniss.

Peeta's strongest attribute is charity. Once when Peeta and Katniss were both younger, right after Katniss' father had died, Katniss and her family had nothing to eat. Katniss was just about ready to give up hope. Yet as fortune would have it, Peeta had burnt a few loaves of bread.

Peeta's angry mother had commanded him to through the useless loaves to the pigs. Peeta went to do so, but when he saw Katniss he had compassion and quickly decided to toss her the bread instead. Thus restoring hope to Katniss.

I designed this shirt as a representation of Peeta. Strong, yet full of hope and love for Katniss.
